I’m Zhanné. I’m an illustrator and designer who uses art to tell stories, spark joy, and make people feel seen, especially women and children of color. My work sits at the intersection of creativity and care. I create to process the world, hold space for emotion, and imagine something softer, brighter, and more just.

I draw inspiration from anime, sci-fi, memories, and music—worlds where emotion and imagination collide. Sound, storytelling, and style shape the way I see and make. I explore the convergence and contrast between masculinity and femininity, using shape and color to play with balance, tension, and fluidity. Mood drives my work. I design to evoke feeling, to make something that lingers.

I sketch every piece in pencil before moving to digital. My traditional training grounds me, and my self-taught digital process keeps me evolving. I built my workflow intuitively—layer by layer, discovery through mistake, and always learning.

My art practice stays personal but never isolated. Whether I’m illustrating for print, designing a new journal, or drawing from a dream I had, I stay focused on how art can affirm, invite, and reflect. I create work that feels like a warm hello—or a mirror that says, “Yes, you belong here.”
